I have a real soft spot for this retro color scheme. Can you use a different font for the title and the text? The same plump 70s font as your "bang" icon would work great for the title, but would make the text too hard to read.

I have much better fonts than that one. (It's called Glamourgirl, and it's okay except for the "e", which is hideous.) But it wouldn't do anyone any good, because you wouldn't be able to see it unless you had the font, too. Now, if I could figure out how to put a graphic in that space, it'd kick ass.
