Link to article (hit the funny bit about how to identify an anarchist) collectivized from [livejournal.com profile] crudocrust while "masking up" for a "direct action." Because we don't believe in property!

Sometimes the diagonal line runs one way, sometimes the other? That's an awesome finding.

I've also just discovered that every piece of paper on my desk can be turned upside-down too.

Reminds me of the Reno Police Department, who in thier gang "guidebook" lists punks as members of "Racist White Supremacist" gangs and list the Sraight Edge kids as a "gang".

One time an aquaintence was pulled over wear a black bandana on her head. The cop ask he if she was in a "straight-edge gang" and tried to use her supposed membership in said gang as cause to search her car.

Once she pretended to make a phone call to her lawyer on her cell the pig stopped that shit pretty fast.

Sad but true.

Andrej here.
Would love to talk to that girl.
Do not know much more than the info you have.
Time is slowly killing the interest, but that one experience of meeting with her fell on me like an anvil on a coyote in a roadrunner cartoon.
If she can do that to me in one conversation, I do want to talk to her again. If it can be.

the “Conflict” symbol is sometimes used, typically represented by a circle with a horizontal lightening bolt through it.

SHAZAM!

I didn't read that far, but isn't this logo what they're refering about?

There were parts of it that I thought would work well as anarchist recruiting spiels.

So anarchists can now fool the cops by wearing pastels?

I thought it was a pretty good article, actually.

I found their analysis to be pretty in-depth, and mostly accurate (although there were some funny moments). They did a pretty good job of summing up some of the major debates in the community, and identifying major challenges an infiltrator faces. And there was a tacit admission of the use of agents provacteurs (when reviewing some of our strategic arguments against black blocs). I wish they had discussed their own strategy a bit more in-depth, but the authors were too smart for that.

And the ultimate conclusion was a bit chilling. Basically, they're recommending monitoring the anarchist movement not only because of the "criminal" acts we do in the name of activism, but because of the potential to actually develop into a revolutionary movement.

I don't like that the cops can write this good of an article about us.
