[Error: unknown template qotd]Oh man. I have several shoeboxes full of them. For years and years, I was so shocked every time someone would send me a letter or card or postcard that I kept everything—even impersonal Christmas cards from work—and I haven't had the heart to ever sort through them. It's not like I'm going to read them. Maybe if I ever get famous, someone can use them in my biography, but seriously how likely is that to ever happen?

Currently, clutter is a thing that stresses me out, so I toss nearly everything except for interesting letters and postcards. I don't like having paper around.

You can borrow my ScanSnap duplex scanner! I put all my old greeting cards and postcards into it, and it converted them all (both sides at once!) into nice PDFs. Then I could recycle the paper guilt-free. I eliminated a half-dozen boxes of paper in a few evenings.

I have a couple of shoe boxes and a small jute rice sack.

I am hoping to do some decluttering of paper stuffs and old clothes this week. It's a bit daunting.

I'm probably due for a purge in spring or summer. I love how it feels after, but starting it and actually doing it is awful.
