Worth reading?

Yeah. It made me question a lot of my reaction to internet outrages, for one, and whether the urge to shame and demolish comes from just righteousness or bullying spite. It's quite compassionate and humanistic, even towards subjects who are assholes, which is typical of his writing.

It also gave me a good idea for the novel I'm writing irt to my protagonist's profession.

I have just read "The Rising", which is an alternative history where the Dutch invented clockwork beings that let them conquer the world. A small French territory in North America is the final bastion of resistance.
