Okay, so Rabbi Avrom Shmulevich, leader of the "hyperzionist" Be'ad Artzeinu group (or someone posing as him, anyway), got himself a LiveJournal account and posted this in free_palestine.

I ask you, what sort of self-respecting fanatic resorts to these measures?

Also, do those of you who speak Russian want to have a guess at whether our rabbi friend is the real deal?

I ought to delete the entry, as it's hate speech, but the whole scenario makes me giggle, and I need a good laugh.

well, its very elaborate. it was nominated for the 2004 deutsche welle international weblog awards in the russian category, which may or may not mean anything.
it also appears to be mirrored on a myriad of .ru websites.
we should ask zakat. he speaks russian. maybe he even knows shmulevich.

He seems to be religious where nationalism is concerned at least. He's obviously not ultra-Orthodox, as he's very much Zionist, but many religious Zionists are more interested in "redeeming the land of Eretz Yisrael" than in strictly applying Halakha.

I think it's lamer if it is the guy. Because according to his web site, he's all "reclusive" and "mysterious" and doesn't leave home without his M-16. LJ just kills all the mystery, don't you think?
