taken from a bunch of people
Jan. 25th, 2005 09:59 pm1. Comment with any subject that you would like me to rant on, with possible swearing involved. Any subject - but notice you might want me to rant *against* the subject and OMG I rant *for* it.
2. Watch my journal for your rant.
3. Post this in your own journal, so that you may rant for others.
Or, you know, we could all just have a group rant about how great it is that This is Wonderland is back on.
In other legal news, it turns out that a certain fellow whom I rescued from arrest several months ago (and who, accordingly, developed a crush on me because I saved his arse) just got arrested. You win some, you lose some.

Date: 2005-01-26 05:02 am (UTC)he's my boyfriendhe tends to make a lot of sense. This one is also a good analysis.I feel like I'm not entirely qualified to comment on internal Palestinian politics, partially because it's a Byzantine tangle, and partially because I'm not Palestinian. For the record, I would have voted for Mustafa Barghouti under a great deal of protest -- I don't think the elections were legitimate, but I feel that he might have accomplished some good in a very limited capacity.
I asked a few of the "insiders"; the general consensus seems to be that Abbas is dirty, albeit not in the particular way that Qurai is dirty (I tend to confuse the two). But that pretty much goes for anyone in the Fatah leadership.

Date: 2005-01-26 04:07 am (UTC)Wouldn't that be a rave rather than a rant? I always thought raves were positive and rants were negative. Of course, that causes some confusion as to what "ranting and raving" means. Vehement mixed reviews?

On a tangential note, American Flagg and Go give me the impression that Jewish weddings are a lot more fun than you let on.

Date: 2005-01-27 04:36 am (UTC)I've been to a few Jewish weddings now, and so far there has not been any attacks by shabbos goys sent by militant Hassidic groups. Then again, said weddings haven't involved people outside of the faith (my uncle was married in a civil ceremony and my mother by a Wobbly bishop.) I live in hope, however.

Date: 2005-01-27 09:04 pm (UTC)Oop. That's right; I forgot about that.
I keep looking for 1789 but so far no luck.
Wrong date. You must be confusing the signing of the Declaration of Independence (1776) with the ratification of the Constitution (1789). The musical 1776 is about the former. The French Revolution also started in 1789 so your confusion is entirely understandable. Plus, you are Canadian and stuff. Even if you had the correct date, it's a pretty elusive video to track down. I can enclose it in your next package, if you like.

Well, I was actually referring to all the spontaneous sexual liaisons and nice Jewish girls hooking up with Irish guys (or English guys who pretend to be Irish in order to get laid).
