Someone on Stormfront suggested that Droege's murder was linked to prostitution rather than to drugs; the fact that he was found in his underwear lends a bit of credibility to that theory.

The only thing that would have made this better would be if they found him in a clown suit.

The shooter's name is Keith Deroux, by the way. Unfortunately, I've yet to obtain a decent photo of the guy in a blood-splattered t-shirt in order to make a "Nazi-killers are love" colourbar. Sorry about that. I think the picture's in the Toronto Sun if anyone wants to scan it and send it my way.

I still won't give that filthy tabloid a cent of my hard-earned funny money, but their cover today was fantastic. Was anyone else's first thought, "zombienazis!" or was it just me?

Yes, I am a cruel and hateful person. I wouldn't have it any other way.

EDIT: Everyone click here, now! This is the best video ever made. It's like a musical version of a Thomas Kinkaid painting with mullets and crappy CGI. It's brilliant. (Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] syndicalist for showing me the way, the truth, and the light.)

doesn't that amount to the same thing?

Bossman used to read his fiction, back when he worked at Bakka, and also did not think he was hot shit.

He seems to have made a career doing pretty much what he wants to do, which
I've read one of his novels. The concept was interesting, and I thought he did a good job with a sort-of near-future post-cyberpunk crazed-post-dot-bust premise. Good near-future worldbuilding. Characterization, not bad. Plot, also not bad. Writing...less than stellar, but not terrible. A book for borrowing from the library.

Or getting for free from the Creative Commons.

*snrk* True for you.

Of course, "free from the Creative Commons" means that I have to pay for the paper, in order to read it on the subway (since I don't have a handheld). Borrowing from the library = fewer dead trees.

See, this is where working in an office with rather lax paper-use policies comes in handy.

Office...policies? Offices have policies? Oh! You mean, like "Don't wear a suit," and "Put the garbage out when it's your week to put the garbage out."

Right. I get it.

We don't have a paper-use policy at the Comma Mines. I just feel guilty for wasting company resources. (Yeah, I know, it's weird.)

P&Ls every week? Like, does everyone take on responsibilities related to that?

(In order to de-alienate the non-corporate readers in the crowd: P&L stands for Profits and Losses, if my memory serves me right.)

Wow

What a creepy amalgam of Ted Nugent, Barry Gibb and Yanni. You are right on with the "Thomas Kinkaid as producer (of light)" for this video. I really want to swallow a shotgun after that, but only one that's made in the U.S. of A.
