Who would like to hear about my weird dreams? This one has to do with Canadian politics.
Justin Trudeau met with Ben Mulroney and it was billed as a huge event, a bipartisan meeting of the minds, despite the minds in question being quite dim and the two men involved having only risen to their level of power and influence because of who their fathers were. There were big glossy magazine covers about it. Trudeau basically treated Mulroney as if he was the next Conservative leader.
Andrew Scheer got very angry about this and decided to stage a publicity stunt of his own. He rented some tents, got a bunch of sheep, dressed up the sheep as Homer Simpson (not well; he just smudged on some fake stubble and called it a day) and stampeded them in circles around the tent. Then he released the video, which was low-quality cellphone footage.
I was reading NOW Magazine and they'd covered the video, but they also did a bunch of stills of the sheep's terrified eyes. The stills had JPG artifacts all over the place and were Cursed Images. As I was reading the various columns,, every so often I'd stumble across a little image of horrified Homer Simpson sheep, and I thought that this was a mean thing to do to readers.
