Who is sick of Disappointing Covid Dreams? We are living through times of apocalypse and revolution and I don't know about you, but most of my dreams are too dull to report.

Until they got so gross last night that I almost didn't post this except that my brain tortured me with it and now I'm going to torture you with it.



Dream 1: My toilet exploded, and the entire bathroom was covered in shit. Think Carrie at the prom but instead it was shit. I started to scrape it off with a shovel because there's a pandemic and I couldn't call a plumber, and there's no one in the world you could pay enough to clean something like that, until I just gave up and cried.

Dream 2: Basically the third Alien movie. I don't know why either.

Dream 3: Here's where it got really weird. I was one of four med students who were also art students for some reason, and we somehow ended up with the custody of a gigantic (we're talking room-sized) sentient colon. It looked like it was made out of felt and was actually very silly looking, but deadly. It kept digesting people and we were trying to figure out how to make it stop. We hired a lawyer who came to see us and suggested that the colon needed to digest people, but we could lure horrible people—Nazis, far-right politicians, cops, and so on—to it so that it wouldn't eat anyone we felt bad about. As she spoke, the colon wrapped around her, and by the time she was done talking, only her head was visible. She finally realized what was happening and started screaming, but it was too late and she disappeared into a writhing mass of giant pink felt intestines with a pop.

I do like the plan to lure horrible people like Nazis to get eaten by the colon, though.

I think it's because they're tossing around return-to-school plans and none of them seem to account for teachers and students needing to use the washroom.

It was a good plan. Too bad she got eaten herself.

Why do our subconsciousnesses do these things to us? That last dream was pretty epic, though.

For the first one you need Silent Bob and his experience fighting Golgothim.

Dream 3 is a truly classic dream. Very innovative. Some classic nightmare tropes, but with some unique twists.

I periodically have dreams of the "mess gets everywhere and everything you do to stop it/clean it makes it worse" variety. Not sure many involving shit, but pee is quite a common one. (Fortunately this does not correspond to anything happening in the waking world).

Weird shit dreams are hilarious. Mine are mostly about me pooping. Like in an oddly placed toilet... while people carry on talking to me as if nothing is happening.
