Not that Doug Ford isn't a jackass, but before you put only 5 kids in a classroom I'd ask - do you have enough qualified teachers who are willing to work during the pandemic for, one assumes, normal pay? Do you have enough classrooms?

Ford fired a bunch of teachers, so presumably he could hire some back. Plus some young grads. In terms of classrooms, nope, but the city is willing to give up other locations. If you only care about babysitting and not pedagogy, it's theoretically possible, just very expensive. And he's the man with the purse strings.

In terms of safety, people will still die. Fewer, though.
