I tend to go back and forth on whether I should celebrate Fake Labour Day. (We lefty types usually find something entertaining to do on May Day.) There's a big, city-sanctioned union march, and it ends in an explosion of corporate debauchery and military might at the Exhibition fair.

I got all Wobblied up and went this time. Also, I got a stuffed lion. Sometimes I really am eight years old.

Yeah I dug it up in an e-mail my stepdad sent to me last month while I was away. She looks like something from a Tim Burton film, which would be squee, except that she wants to sell the icepick, which makes her a dirty capitalist.
