Newsflash: Michael Savage is a douchebag all the time, not just when he's on the air.
I hope someone gave him the "special sauce." There is a special circle in Hell for people who abuse food-service industry workers.
Also, hahaha! He has a French poodle.
Does someone want to remind me why we are supposed to vote for the NDP again?
If you're in Toronto-Danforth, vote for Shane Martinez, not Jack Layton. This has been an unofficial
sabotabby endorsement.
Oh, and guess what else? My free cable went buh-bye last night, right before I was going to watch Six Feet Under! (Okay, it may have happened days ago for all I know, since SFU is the only thing I've been watching on TV lately.) This is probably for the best, since I won't have cable in the new place, but it will not make me a happy camper for the month-and-a-bit I have left in my place.

Date: 2005-12-05 05:15 pm (UTC)Plus, I haven't seen or heard from Shane, and therefore have to assume he's a hideous alien. Every other candidate has already been over at my house for dinner, and then we played Scrabble. Also, Layton recently knelt in front of a friend of mine to polish her scuffed high heel shoe during a public appearance -- now that is service. (it really happened oh yes)
BTW, ha ha, I googled "Shane Martinez" and this came up:

Date: 2005-12-05 06:05 pm (UTC)Even if I'm not a big fan of strategic voting, I'm still relatively opposed to complete ballot wastage until we get a PR system... :P
Your icon is hard to figure out at first, although it was funny once I did make out the right-side dog's shape...

Date: 2005-12-05 06:19 pm (UTC)With the exportation of the proletariat to places like China and India, we can't expect voters in Canada to be much part of it anymore. Even poor people know that they have it better here, and that's a critical part of the psyche of the voter.
I guess the question is, looking back in history, what is the benefit of bourgeois revolutions?

Date: 2005-12-06 12:33 am (UTC)I have to say that the story seems a tiny bit fishy (heh); I don't know anyone in SF who goes to Fisherman's Wharf to eat unless they have inlaws from a midwest suburb in town. I don't doubt that he's a total asshole though. He's so completely over the top- he's nuts.
My aunt works, (or did) for the Ontario NDP for quite some time. For someone she referred to as BDG or DBG, (bald, deaf guy).

Date: 2005-12-06 01:22 am (UTC)Maybe locals go to Fisherman's Wharf to dine- I dunno- I can't do it. I hate FW- it's like Disney SF.
In other news: Yay! Time to go home! It's beer-o-clock!

Date: 2005-12-06 05:02 am (UTC)Don't get me wrong -- it's gorgeous, even though we don't like the colours in most of the rooms. But there's still someone's stuff all over the place.
