Newsflash: Michael Savage is a douchebag all the time, not just when he's on the air.
I hope someone gave him the "special sauce." There is a special circle in Hell for people who abuse food-service industry workers.

Also, hahaha! He has a French poodle.

Does someone want to remind me why we are supposed to vote for the NDP again?
If you're in Toronto-Danforth, vote for Shane Martinez, not Jack Layton. This has been an unofficial [livejournal.com profile] sabotabby endorsement.

Oh, and guess what else? My free cable went buh-bye last night, right before I was going to watch Six Feet Under! (Okay, it may have happened days ago for all I know, since SFU is the only thing I've been watching on TV lately.) This is probably for the best, since I won't have cable in the new place, but it will not make me a happy camper for the month-and-a-bit I have left in my place.

Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

Last week I helped [livejournal.com profile] himy across the street (6 points). Last Tuesday I committed genocide... Sorry about that, [livejournal.com profile] paigegirl (-5000 points). Last Wenesday [livejournal.com profile] 99catsaway and I robbed a bank (-50 points). In May I stole [livejournal.com profile] comrade_trotsky's purse (-30 points). In November I caught a purse-snatcher who stole [livejournal.com profile] jupitah's purse (30 points).

Overall, I've been naughty (-5044 points). For Christmas I deserve a spanking!

Sincerely,
sabotabby

Why in God's name did the Bay Area get that prick? We oughta lock him up in the local Hooters when we burn it down.

Hey, when I take over this country, do you want a cabinet position?

I live in Layton's riding, and Shane Martinez-Ruttle won't get my vote because I hear he's Soft on Snow! Whereas Layton personally guarantees my street remains snow-free so far this fall.

Plus, I haven't seen or heard from Shane, and therefore have to assume he's a hideous alien. Every other candidate has already been over at my house for dinner, and then we played Scrabble. Also, Layton recently knelt in front of a friend of mine to polish her scuffed high heel shoe during a public appearance -- now that is service. (it really happened oh yes)

BTW, ha ha, I googled "Shane Martinez" and this came up:

You're supposed to vote for the NDP because they have achievable goals that make them electable for a first mandate, i.e. their schemes do not involve massive expropriation of private businesses. That's second-mandate referendum-style election kinda stuff.

Even if I'm not a big fan of strategic voting, I'm still relatively opposed to complete ballot wastage until we get a PR system... :P

Your icon is hard to figure out at first, although it was funny once I did make out the right-side dog's shape...

Yeah, they're either wolves or huskies.

With the exportation of the proletariat to places like China and India, we can't expect voters in Canada to be much part of it anymore. Even poor people know that they have it better here, and that's a critical part of the psyche of the voter.

I guess the question is, looking back in history, what is the benefit of bourgeois revolutions?

Do you know that there is a game called "Guillotine"?

I like that the "Recommended Ages" are 12 and up.

This is a better site: It explains the rules, shows the cards and has an animated logo.

He has a French poodle *in San Francisco*(!) Apart from the fact that this makes Dan Savage look positively butch by comparison, what would Michael Savage's fans think if they knew?

*Ew* at Michael Savage. I didn't know that he lived around here. His gross billboards are around town though.
I have to say that the story seems a tiny bit fishy (heh); I don't know anyone in SF who goes to Fisherman's Wharf to eat unless they have inlaws from a midwest suburb in town. I don't doubt that he's a total asshole though. He's so completely over the top- he's nuts.

My aunt works, (or did) for the Ontario NDP for quite some time. For someone she referred to as BDG or DBG, (bald, deaf guy).

Very, very good point. Yes, he would more likely be found dining with fat, white, republican tourist types...and a poodle. *shudder*.
Maybe locals go to Fisherman's Wharf to dine- I dunno- I can't do it. I hate FW- it's like Disney SF.
In other news: Yay! Time to go home! It's beer-o-clock!

Lots of wide, sunny windowsills and room to race around in?
