There's a children's book called something like "Cluck-Cluck-Moo" about chickens who find a typewriter, write up some demands to give to the farmer and then go on strike when he doesn't give in. I think the cows do the same thing, along with the ducks. Maybe that cartoon is where the book came from.

Cows find an old typewriter in the barn. They learn how to type.

"Dear Farmer Brown, The barn is very cold at night. We'd like some electric blankets. Sincerely, The Cows."

Farmer Brown says, fuck that shit! And then the cows type up strike signs and refuse to give milk. Then Farmer Brown freaks out some more, the Hens join the strike and Farmer brown is livid. Duck is sent as a mediator with a final ultimatum, the cows will give up the typewriter if both hens and cows get electric blankets.

The farmer agrees. The farmer leaves the blankets by the barn and goes to wait for the duck, the neutral party, to deliver the typewriter.

But of course instead, he gets a note from the ducks.

"Dear Farmer Brown, The pond is quite boring. We'd like a diving board. Sincerely, The Ducks."

Hehehe, so you did put the cartoon. To be honest I think that was the only redeeming part of the film. Otherwise the documentary was completely forgettable. Oh are you coming sat. to the Nepal event? These are my new allies and I would like them to get a good turnout.

The only "WTF?" I have is in regard to WHY KITTENS haven't been shown in similar situations yet. I mean, we all know kittens are the most revolutionary of animals...

and puppies too.

Alas, there was a cat in that movie; he was an overseer who whipped the poor chickens with his tail. It makes me wonder, since he was a black cat, and the black cat is a Wobbly symbol.
