On the anonymous one? Yes—and my comments were a bit restrained, in that I did not wish on them the same sort of brutality that was visited upon those women.

That's all I can really say about that at the moment, as I've been trying to cut down to allowing myself to have a maximum of 3 outbursts of anger-and-frustration at the world per day, with a break on the second thurday of every month in which I'm allowed to let loose and go buck wild. It's not easy.

I remember during my senior year of college there were some 10 reported rape cases and many people were not happy they were publicised. The university police chief (yes, in a town of 50,000 people, where 45,000 are students, there is a city police dept, and a university police dept, complete with SUVs, Harleys, and semi-automatics), a lady, blamed the victim as usual and cautioned women to "protect themselves more". So I got really paranoid and tried to protect myself, except that protecting myself probably would have meant provoking violence upon my person. And quickly realised that I can't win in this debate.
