I was having some sort of get-together with brownfist when, to my surprise, Ann Coulter and her bodyguard/booking agent showed up. What was even more surprising was that brownfist knew and liked Ann Coulter. We ordered a round and talked for a bit. During the course of our conversation it became clear that she was quite left-leaning; more liberal than either of us, but given the scope of American mainstream politics, not bad at all. It seemed that her entire public persona was just a front, designed to expose and humiliate the American Right by confronting them with the logical conclusions of their argument.

With a measure of shock, I realized that she was absolutely brilliant.

I made up my mind to go see her talk that night, but it was at midnight, and I ended up at some strange subway station and missed it utterly. I phoned brownfist, who'd gone home for the evening, and told him to give her my regrets the next time they spoke.

"It's okay," he said, "She thought you were really cool, too."

Today, I'm running around like a chicken with its head cut off. All the drama of the past few days has left me with about four hours today to pack and get ready to leave. Go organization skillz!

I once initiated a long, drawn out discussion about Ann Coulter when I made the remark "If Condaleeza Rice weren't so evil, I think she'd actually be kind of cute." The conversation then moved on to whether or not Coulter would be cute, if not evil, which then expanded into a very long Coulter discussion that went in all kinds of directions!

A few years ago, I had a similar discussion, though awake, about Michael Savage. I thought that he was just so over the top that it must be some ingenious (or not) ploy.

That would be awesome if it were true. Someone should do that.

I think all of this is true (your dream and similar parallels to other personalities) except that the end is not to make the right collapse, but just to make money and get some attention.

Like, I enjoy discussion with clever right-wingers. Unlike the twit in my China class, who kept insisting that Canada can only and only does follow U.S. policy, espcially in matters Chinese. Hello Canadian recognition before the U.S.! Hello Canadian One-China policy, versus American Two-Chinas policy!

She came to speak at my college, and she was absolutely terrible! Glad y'all two made a connection in dreamland, though. :)

I had a dream last night that I was in charge of taking care of this tiger and 2 lions upstairs at my parents' house while they were on vacation. And I told my mom that I felt a little uncomfortable feeding lions and tigers, and she was all, "This is your responsibility, Rose, and I wish you would just finish the things that you start!" Haha, wonder what that means.

It was just like the Life of Pi.

I am really freaked out about the fact that you have dreams about me! But its even more scary that I know and like Ann Coulter! It really robs me of any credability in the left. But there are days when I think Ann Coulter is more liberal, and she does this for the money!

That dream is interesting to me, cause i had this thought a few weeks ago that maybe Bill O'Reilly was really just doing a head fake and would go to the left, especially when he spends so much time critiquing Hillary. Not only that but recently he is severely going after Exxon Mobil for the high gas prices and he even mentioned something about it being a big enough story to be French Revolution type reaction. Or maybe he is just going short on gas companies..lol
