The perfect thing for a shitty day:
Cats who talk. Talking cats. OMG.
Soon, they will develop opposable thumbs and humans will no longer be needed.

Date: 2006-05-29 07:25 pm (UTC)That last cat was very, very angry. Or possibly on psychotropic drugs, if you look at the speech utterances.
Man, thanks for that clip. I'm totally sharing it with friends.

Date: 2006-05-29 11:52 pm (UTC)That last cat was either very frightened or very sick. The "mama" one killed me though.

Date: 2006-05-30 12:26 am (UTC)I think the last cat just has a weird meow. Marinetti and Luna both sound like they're in pain half the time.

...and I read this in seventh grade. It's a great read for a young'un.
Hopefully cats will finish their evolution into full sentience soon so they can get rid of these miserable humans and begin their mission of galactic dominance. All this Amerikashit is getting really boring and depressing.

Date: 2006-05-30 12:42 am (UTC)I am so sick of humans. Cats wouldn't even aim for galactic dominance. Why? Because it's more fun to sleep in sunbeams and catch mice. Which is why they're vastly superior to people.

Date: 2006-05-30 02:52 am (UTC)Jaz, the black kitty, is very vocal. I should teach him to sing. (And he's just spent the last 5 minutes trying to scramble up the curtains, which is cute but annoying.)

Date: 2006-05-30 03:04 am (UTC)The cats aren't entirely benevolent, cos, well, they're cats, but they do try to do the best they can for the miserable humans.

Date: 2006-05-30 05:31 pm (UTC)If cats could talk, they wouldn't.
If they did decide talking was appropriate it sure as hell wouldn't be "mama" or "i love you".

Decades and decades of the 6th toe phenomenon and I have actually met some furballs who can pick stuff up with their alien toe.
The future is now.
