At the moment, passengers on flights to and from the U.S. are not permitted to carry any liquids on board the aircraft (in their carry-on luggage); everyone's requested to keep their carry-on to a minimum.

Air Canada's travel advisory doesn't say anything about electronics, so I'm not sure whether folks are permitted to bring those or not.

In my woowoo tinfoil hat moments, I start to think that between making large parts of the world less safe to travel to and imposing lame-ass useless security restrictions (hello? People can't take paperback novels on board? What are they going to do? Quote the Da Vinci Code until the pilot lands the plane in self-defense?) they're trying to make travel so arduous that only those who absolutely have to travel will do so, expecting harrassment, annoyance, and unpleasantness all the way there and back again, if they don't get deported to Syria en route home.

1) a vast conspiracy of Those In Power extending beyond the Nighted States

2) that Those in Power are sufficiently organized to have agreed upon a goal that involves restricting everyone's travel

3) that everyone in the world is dumb enough to buy into it.

Well, wolffsekunde is his working LJ name now. His old original LJ name which is still up was mattwolff. Dollars to donuts he wasn't in our community under either name, but created himself a troll name. Unless you recognize one or the other.

Sorry, the accusation on freetospeak was kind of grasping at straws. My sister mentioned it to me, and its definitely a troll name, but you've probably picked that up by now.

But he's got to have another troll name in that community, in the rant he re-wrote- you know, the personal vendetta one against me- he says stuff you'd only know if you actually read the post -and- the subsequent comments thread between me and innocent_irony.
