What's wrong with it is that they just up and spelled out the logical fallacy instead of masking it with visual and rhetorical tricks. It would be like if those iPod billboards said, "Remember: when you want to dance like a black, you need earbud headphones."
The great thing about camera phones (or phone cameras) is never missing out on capturing even the smallest amusements of daily life, not for those cheesy Kodak pictures with happy families and picnics.
This may have something to do with "brainwashing"? (snicker)
Of course, let's not forget the Wal-Mart in East York, Penn., whose "Back To School" sale a few years ago included shotgun shells. A full variety was offered, from small game loads to skeet rounds, at $29.80 for "a large box." A store spokesman said the same "Back To School" price placard was used for all sale items throughout the store (but still....).
Thank you for noticing the statues. (One reason why no one may be talking about it is that I added it as an edit after.) I don't think most of them are all that "strange," but most are pretty awesome, and I'm not generally one for appreciating sculpture.
Bit of a dial-up killer, though. Does anyone still have dial-up?
I've been looking at additional statues people have posted in the comments thread. (Jeez, some people are stodgy troglodytes.) Have you seen the Cat Mask Statue? Here it is again without a human. I confess a certain fondness for the cartoony works. This is a "Monument to Happiness" in Russia.
Salamander loves playing with tape. I'm not sure what she'd do with the bacon, though.
I wish there were better sculpture around here. So much of it is what I see as neo-fascist - idealized skinny white people looking athletic, instead of sturdy, muscular white people. There were even people all in a twitter in a town not far from here about the installation of nude sculptures in a public place. Twits.

The mind boggles.

They.are.in-credible!
Then again, nobody commented on my Tom Otterness post ages ago either. I guess people don't appreciate amazing statuary.
