Tony Snow spoke to the Washington press this afternoon, claiming that "we've turned a corner and the situation is improving."

Not only am I alive, but I'm also back in the Editorial Eyrie with canned food and handy blunt objects. Glad to hear that you're holding out down there. Have you seen rohmie? He strikes me as the sort of person who could hold his own during a zombie apocalypse, but he hasn't checked in yet.

He lives in the area. I'm waiting to hear from him. His workplace is only a block or so from here; we may go out tomorrow to see if anyone is alive on campus.

That's right! But don't forget this is only happening because our leaders were more successful with the Z-bomb than they were with the gay bomb. If it was the other way around, this day would end with, um, a bang rather than a groan. But instead we find ourselves lusting for human brains rather than rear ends.
