Thursday poll

I've run out of internets this afternoon, so, inspired by the mixed results of threepunchstuff's Great Questions of Our Age, here's a poll of accumulated Things I've Been Wondering.

Among other things, it contains what could be considered a spoiler for Season 3 of New Who, so I'll put it under a cut just to be safe.

The coach website almost wins for this, but the length and multiple color usage from the other site is made of win. And by win, I mean lose.

I chose Sayid because Naveen Andrews was totally hot in Bride & Prejudice.

See, I couldn't look at the coach website for more than five seconds, but the illuminations one drew me in out of a trainwrecky sense of horror. So it was a draw.

Naveen Andrews is totally hot, period, but he hasn't led a prison riot yet as far as I know, so I still say Said is hotter. Though if we're going on other roles, Eamonn Walker would lose points for Lord of War and Tears of the Sun neither of which managed to be good despite starring him.

Prison riot leading does tend to raise the hotness quotient! I have not seen Said in anything, so I could only vote based on still images. He is still hot in those images, but it would be wrong to vote for him without seeing him act. lol

I didn't look at the coach one for more than five seconds, especially after seeing that "Basic is $Free!". But there's something more hurtful to my eyes in illuminations. I can't focus on coach, but it doesn't cause pain like the other.

I figure that anyone who isn't confused by the first question is going to be confused by either the second or the third. My brain is kind of a strange place.

Okay, you know who Žižek is.

Saxon is [spoiler] The latest incarnation of the Master on Doctor Who, as revealed by the end of the latest episode. From the previews for the next episode, it looks like he's a politician modelled after Tony Blair, which is totally hilarious, as he's a meglomaniacal supervillain.[/spoiler]

Kareem Said was the leader of the Muslim prisoners on HBO's OZ. (That's him in my icon.) Sayid Jarrah is an Iraqi character on Lost played by an Indian dude. I've only ever seen one episode of Lost, but whatever.

And those websites are just things that someone at work stumbled upon.

It's been so long since I've seen OZ, there is no way I would have remembered that character's name. I liked him, though.

I have never watched so much as 2 minutes of Lost in one sitting.
