No, not at all. I think it's something about most of my friends, and me, being abused at some point in our development and thus being weirdly un-trusting when it comes to such intimacy with another person. Something about how vulnerable it is to orgasm, and doing it in front of someone else making you that vulnerable to them... Dunno exactly, but I find it interesting.

Yes. Oh, very much, yes. There are so many things that nobody should attempt to learn from Hollywood (politics of any kind, physics, sexual technique, theology, computer network security) and yet they seem to be most people's primary source of information. Something is broken here, and it's unclear how to fix it.

(Though we can presumably blame generally-available porn as well as Hollywood for misinformation on the general "how to fuck" level.)
