Wow - I don't think you get politicians attending Pride over here, except probably Ken Livingstone, ex-mayor.
Actually, there's been quite a lot of progress on that score - all of the three main political parties have Cabinet/Shadow Cabinet-level speakers at Pride this year, and all of them will also have delegations marching in the parade. I don't think it matters what they'll be wearing, though! (As long as it isn't something with an obnoxious slogan on it, obviously.)
