I got very excited, though, because I saw the (somewhat uncommon) last name of a friend of mine and went all "wheee...can't wait to tell him," but it turned out that it was someone else.

EDIT: D. and C. just said they are coming to Chicago with me in June in a chaperone capacity. Way to spoil all of my fun, guys. I think they were joking, but you never know.

"Espouses the philosophy of syndicalism, a violent form of anarchism," since syndicalism is probably one of the least violent modes of social struggle (after sitting on the road and getting your head bashed in, which is arguably not a form of social struggle).
