Feb. 27th, 2005 11:30 amMother has gone missing. I suspect my stepfather's not the irresponsible sort of person who would misplace his wife, but since she currently has The SARS, I'm a bit concerned. My grandmother called me up just now to ask where my mum was, to which I replied that I'm not normally given to calling sick people first thing on a Sunday morning when they should be sleeping, but since she does things like that, she discovered that my mom is Not At The House. (For that matter, neither is my stepfather, which might imply that they're out for breakfast.) As if I don't have enough to worry about.
I came across this cautionary tale on
zombie_survival. Apparently, being prepared for a possible zombie outbreak means that you hate America and freedom and babies. That's not surprising, though, is it? We can talk about the Bush administration's complicity in zombie propagation, if you'd like.
I also saw a clever alteration of a Constantine poster on the subway yesterday. I didn't have my camera, but this is a pretty faithful recreation, except that the one I saw also had Wyld Stallions written on it.

EDIT: Nope, mom is just asleep, and still very sick. The feeling in the back of my throat suggests that I caught it, too.
