sabotabby1. Well, go Bolivia! Just as much of the world is going to hell, amazing things are happening all over Latin America.
On a personal note, the guy who inspired me to start a Coca Cola boycott (long before I knew about what was going on in Colombia) was a Bolivian trade union activist. I wonder how he's doing now, since I'm sure he's right in the middle of this.

Who does Homeland Security consider a potential threat?
• "foreign [Islamic] terrorists" ,
• "domestic radical groups", [antiwar and civil rights groups]
• "state sponsored adversaries" ["rogue states", "unstable nations"]
• "disgruntled employees" [labor and union activists].
In other news, the sky is blue. But do yourselves a favour and glance over the introduction to Planning Scenarios itself. It's some frightening stuff.
3. A group calling itself the Guardians of the Planet Earth kidnapped a fucking Dalek and sent the following ransom note along with the creature's amputated plunger:
Rumour has it that Colin Baker has been called in. No, seriously.

The other really great thing on Making Light today is the discussion of naming characters in SF/Fantasy. And Indian side dishes. Those two subjects are closely related, I'm afraid.
