Seriously?
Aug. 11th, 2009 10:22 amDo people in the U.S. genuinely believe there are these "death panels" in Canada? Is this a widely-held belief?
One day this so-called debate will be used to analyze the effectiveness of propaganda. You can just say anything and folks will swallow it, I guess. I mean, it's one thing to have ideological disagreements. I may plan on putting some people up against the wall come the revolution, but in the meantime they have the right to be wrong. But it takes a tiny bit of research, all of which can probably even be done on the internet without having to put on any pants, to figure out how the health care system works in Canada. So most of the people in this debate are blatantly and willfully telling lies that can be disproved with about 30 seconds of Googling.
(Snow volcanoes!)
