What has shocked and appalled me lately? Dangerousminds.net, which I think you read sometimes, has been running excerpts from Paul Slansky's book The Clothes Have no Emperor, a documentation of Reagan's years in power. Reagan Centennial Edition. All these horrible things that I knew and read about that senile idiot and his awful cronies thirty years ago but have managed to forget are flooding back.

First link: Oh god why did I click this so soon after eating ice-cream? Real, actual nausea just after the first paragraph. I only noticed the American Family (bleargh) Association affiliation after reading that much. I am not reading any more.

Second link: It's a bracelet... named Liberty bracelet... that's essentially a chain forged of double rings. And I read the description, and there's no trace of irony, if you will forgive the pun. This one goes on to the list of "stuff you cannot even parody because I mean dude look at that."

Second Link: I don't trust Objectivist websites that have the word "Community" and "We" in them. They don't understand their own principles. Also, as mentioned above - a chain link bracelet which is supposed to represent "Liberty". I am gigging, snorting, pointing and laughing!
