Yep, the last fictional characters I posted about were from Treme. I have nothing to worry about. Even the least badass character on that show would just roll their eyes and keep going in the face of a zombie apocalypse.

I don't tend to post much that's "fandom-related", unless music counts... In that case, I'm apparently going to be fighting zombies with Delhi 2 Dublin. Not sure how effective musical instruments would be as weapons (though the sticks used to play the dhol look pretty sturdy), but on the bright side, most of the band members are pretty buff, and definitely have a lot of energy and stamina going for them.

OTOH, if it needs to be something fiction-related, as the reference to characters implies, I have to go back pretty far... Hmmm, posted a promo for fantasy author Jim Hines's book giveaway raising money for rape crisis centres back in April. Maybe I can have the characters from that book as my zombie-fighting companions? Because that would rock - they're all bad-ass versions of the classic fairy tale princesses, with skill in swordfighting and magic and what not. Talia (Sleeping Beauty) alone could probably take out an army of zombies.

Oh, but wait! If posting comments in other people's journals counts, I did talk a bit about X-Men: First Class in response to a post by thewronghands more recently than that! I can has Magneto and Professor X and Mystique, in their younger incarnations, as my fellow zombie-fighters? YES PLEASE.

You know, I am really trying to stay on the fanfiction wagon here. Or off. Whichever one means "concentrate on writing your own damned characters and don't write fanfic."

So it's very, very bad to tempt me into writing a Treme zombie AU.

(Fortunately, or unfortunately, I'm not sure which, Treme seems to not have a fandom. I found a grand total of one story, which was quite good.)

I'm not sure how useful Davis would be in a zombie apocalypse. Although, I can picture John Goodman's character with a shotgun screaming "FUCK YOU! YOU FUCKING FUCKS!" with every blast.

There always has to be someone who survives the initial wave despite being obviously useless. Like, I think John Goodman's kid would be better equipped than Davis to deal with a zombie apocalypse.

LaDonna would roll her eyes and grab a shotgun. Janette would be, like, flambéing them or something. Oh, and Antoine would somehow kill zombies with his trombone.
