Hmmm...I don't know much about what NDPers get up to out west, but credit where credit's due. No other politician would take up our petition.

I don't know a lot about Canadian politics but from what I've read Libby Davies seems better than the average parliamentarian in campaigning for drug law reform. Is there anything in particular about her that annoys you?

Uzbekistan is really sad. It's been brewing for a few days but of course the United States media ignored it until it absolutely exploded. Maybe something good will come out of it in the end.

I'm not sure this protest in Uzbekistan wasn't spontaneous yet. I mean the former Russian areas in Asia are powder kegs.

A revolt in Uzbekistan wouldn't do the Americans well, the Uzbek dictator is a close friend of the U.S. in Central Asia. The Air Force even has a small base there.

To me it does seem spontanious, this has been brewing for some time since the Uzbek dictator is not a very nice fellow.
