Halloween: Food

lienne, cupric_acetate, and I celebrated a very excellent Thanksween dinner with all of the traditional items, including Tofurky, sweet potato smash, the gravy Rob Ford failed to find at City Hall, and blood from the skulls of our enemies.









The secret to making Tofurky not suck: baste with olive oil, soy sauce, fresh dill, and zataar, and add lots of garlic cloves around it.

The secret to even better pumpkin pie: dulce de leche instead of condensed milk.

Now I'm handing out candy to adorable children before I prepare for the final leg of the evening. More pictures to come.

This year's Halloween rule: All children are equal (and thus deserve equal amounts of candy), but kids who are dressed like Daleks are more equal than others.
