Today in murderous right-wing ideologies, Drug Fraud and his henchwoman, Social Services minister Lisa MacLeod, who makes $165K a year, slashed the proposed 3% hike in social assistance to 1.5%. This doesn't even keep pace with inflation or cost of living, and amounts to a reduction. They also canceled the Basic Income pilot project. Read about it here.

Social assistance rates were already critically low after Harris slashed them in the mid-90s, killing people, including a pregnant woman, Kimberly Rogers, murdered by the Tory government for having the audacity to attempt to turn her life around while on welfare. The latest from Harris' ideological heirs, including Lisa MacLeod (who makes $165K a year for starving poor and disabled people out of the meagre crumbs they get) will no doubt have a body count.
