Just passed a house with a child's skeleton as a Halloween decoration. People should realize these are not cute; when you see one in reality it is at minimum a human tragedy and at worst a #WarCrimes

He's an economist known for, among other things, writing the most hubristic words since King George's "Nothing important happened today." Basically, "The End of History?" is about how capitalist liberal democracy is human civilization's final form. Which. LOL.

I feel like that's an integral part of the comedy gold; it's the fact that it's FRANCIS FUKUYAMA saying this that makes it really spectacular.

(Obviously the whole destruction of the world's economy thing and the Iraq war = not funny. The fact that it's that guy saying this: GOLD.)

It's the world economy thing that's not funny—the fact that it's him saying is fucking hilarious. I mean, a nice white lady in my neighbourhood said something similar and I laughed at that too but this is way better.
