We always do all sorts of fun stuff at my mom's in Massachusetts (like the well-known orange thing and talking about Palestine every time the Haggadah mentions slaves) but this year I'm stuck in NYC and missing it! oy!

It's becoming less and less of a seder here as the moments tick on. I think we are just going to have a big meal or something. One of these days, I'll have a proper one. I did buy oranges, mind you.

I got an invitation from bassist:

I wanted to extend an invitaion to my house for a mock passover seder this Friday. It'll be really informal as I'm a bad Jew. I'll likely post details in the next few days.

I asked if I should bring a cheesecake. After all, it isn't leavened.
