The more you know about technology, the LESS useful the iPhone becomes. A tech saavy person knows that a Windows mobile device offers about 5000 times more software functionality. That's all there is to it!

I'm not a Winblows user. Besides that fact, and trying to avoid a cliched flame war over mac vs windows, I don't think that full blown Safari supporting AJAX, should be discounted as not functional. If you know what you're doing, you can do it. Honestly, part of the fun for me is bucking windows and their shoddy shite and heading off the fugly beaten path. I do know lots of tech oriented folk who have Treos (mostly mac users) and they love them. So to each their own.
I'm not an Apple fanboy by any means and have had lots of qualms with their newest endeavour. They are too obvious to list and I wouldn't bore you with what you most likely already know.
