Also, I finally saw Three Kings last night (it seemed appropriate, given the anniversary) because a whole bunch of people told me that it was good. It was, for about the first half. Is it me, or does it feel like they had to splice a different movie in there so that American audiences wouldn't feel that bad about themselves?

But the do-gooder thread was introduced as soon as they met the insurgents, which was fairly early on.
True, but it was mixed with self-interest, and I wanted it to come with a heavier price.

Wahlberg's character eventually grew drastically, Clooney's did sooner but did not have as far to go but, if memory serves, Ice T was for helping the insurgents from the get go. I haven't seen it in ages. Maybe I'll watch it tonight.
