Those Tibetans, such fucking whiners. Always complaining about their human rights being violated. Why won't they just shut up and watch the Olympics like everyone else?

I'm so torn. On the one hand, there's opposition to the Communist-in-name-only Chinese government, but on the other hand there's a bunch of priests finally getting the whatfor. Can we find a way for both sides to lose, like maybe a bunch of genuinely Maoist insurgents taking over? ;)

I'm unable to not pick a side, even if the Dalai Lama is a CIA stooge. (You'd think he'd get some better press, if that were the case. Mind you, if the MSM is to be believed, he's distancing himself from the protests, so who knows?)

I'm torn too, on the one hand the situation is really sad and I'm all for interrupting the olympics. On the other hand, i get angry that there are discussions between people about whether or not to boycott the olympics but those same people would be against an academic boycott of israel for example.
i dont know, it makes me mad at the same time as feeling bad for the people.. and i'm not even drunk :(
