Internet now attached with two tin cans and a string. It's either the AirPort card or the AirPort antenna.

P.S. October Surprise = U.S. election called off altogether because of the economic crisis?

Speaking of the interwebs, I was peacefully buying my groceries when everyone in my local Kroger got Rick-rolled. Apparently, the boys in corporate know it's a popular song, but they don't know why.

Seriously! When I heard that I almost snorted my drink at the time. What a lameass excuse! McCain is out there coming up with reasons that he doesn't have to orate himself out of a Presidential seat during the debate.

Everyone is saying the obvious..the republicans are looking for excuses. It's positively laughable.

I would respond with something interesting, but I'm calling off LJ to deal with the economic crisis.

I hear the McCain campaign is working on a new bailout plan. I can't wait. I have a whole bunch of snarky republican jokes of dubious value, and I figure McCain can buy them off of me and sell them back for a profit in November after the election has calmed down.

I've got nothing for an October Surprise. Sadly, with the Bush administration being an absurdist masterpiece as it is, they have me soundly beaten at thinking up any comically cynical ploy. My joke would probably already be in their nah, too obvious pile and even my funniest suggestion would be but an anemic tribute to the beautiful chunk of bullshit that's being cooked up for next month.

Also, does the new place have a name yet?

October Surprise, eh?

As much as I like the idea of getting a break from the god damn campaigns, I'd rather suffer for a few more weeks than listen to a entire generation whining about stolen elections.

oh, btw, kewlest october surprise. maybe can have instead someday?
