I will help you invent and fun this if we can do this.....hell, you could just attach an iPod to a hip flask.....a bit bulky, but if you used a nano and put some extra metal to enclose it in there, it would probably work.

Wait: Are you making an iPod that looks like a flask or a flask that looks like an iPod? If it's the latter, it probably wouldn't be that hard to make semi-convincing stickers of the screen and click wheel. You could also go over the stickers with clear box tape to protect them as well as for visual effect.
