Got the best e-mail ever this morning, courtesy of misslynx. (Background: Little A is misslynx's adorable 4-year-old, who for some reason really, really likes me.)

[Little A] insists that he wants to send you an e-mail. Despite the fact that he can't actually write yet. So don't expect much in the way of coherence... But here goes:

"Anything else you'd like to say to [Sabo]?" I asked.

"I do love her," he said. "I love her, and I love the chalk drawings of Cthulhu and the shark. Where the shark is saying 'Yum' and Cthulhu is saying 'Don't even think about it'." He then started singing happily "Don't even think about it, don't even think about it, don't even think about it..." and then got distracted by a bag of cat food.

I am pleased to note that while it rained at some point and the chalk drawings on my patio have washed away, the ones on my walk-up and outdoor furniture remain more or less intact. Those are my favourites anyway.

It is the Avengers. As much as the Cambridge Spies telling me to write would be inspiring, it would probably just inspire me to write the worst porntastic RPF ever.

Speaking off "also"s, is that a new Mac the Knife or am I supposed to notice something on screen? If so, it is too small to read.

Mac the Knife is in the foreground; behind it is the huge monitor that I use for watching movies. I turned off mirroring on the monitors so I can have different things on both screens.

So on Mac's monitor, there's a window with all of the comic files in it. On the large monitor, there's a picture of the Avengers with the caption, "YOU SHOULD BE WRITING."
