I mean, it would also be nice if people remembered these things without prompting. But if it's not on FB, it doesn't count amirite? Birthday greetings are even more depressing when they have to be guilted out of people.

Date: 2013-05-16 07:11 pm (UTC)For what it's worth, I can never remember anyone's birthdays, except probably those of people in my imediate family because I've dealt with those my entire life, so I'm eternally grateful for LJ notifications. I feel the same thing about FB, though, because it's always too weird to see people I haven't spoken to in years wish my happy birthday just because it's good FB etiquette. Then again, I hate everything about FB.
