It was entertaining, in a grim sort of way, to see the UCP election mentioned in the British morning newsletter I get from The New Statesman. They called it a Conservative revival. At least we're being noticed?

Much like after Ford was elected, I think it's gonna take me a while to listen to any CBC podcasts. I need to ease myself into the state of despair.

Well I don't know anyone personally who's fellated him, but—maybe two degrees of separation? The rumour for years in Ottawa was that he was of the wide-stance Republican persuasion. The in-depth profiles of him just skirt the edge of calling him a confirmed bachelor as he's the sort to sue for libel.

But yeah, word is that his homophobia stems from him being so far in the closet that he can see Narnia.
