I'm glad the bastard is gone but what still staggers me is that even Drug Fraud was dim enough to give him the job in the first place. Even if you are a first class Nazi scumbag premier you need a competent CoS to get anything, including your dirty work, done. Government is complicated. Yes they are that dim (or at least Fraud and his disciples are). It's easy to fuck up service delivery. It's the unintended consequences that are the bugger when you don't know what you are doing. That's why the government has backtracked on so many proposals. On the education file, wait until wealthy and articulate parents figure out they are losing their French immersion and IB options. On health, watch while the new Superagency figures out that you can't run everything from Toronto and opens regional offices. Then there are things like the legal action over cancelling the Beer Store contract.

I'm told that the Cabinet is already showing signs of cracking. Fraud making changes won't shut up Christine Elliott and he can't afford to sack her. My spies say she tore a strip off him in Cabinet recently calling his Public Health cuts "insane" and refusing to defend them in public.

It's only 12 months in and they are in damage control mode. How long will the caucus put up with Fraud if it's obvious he's going to lose them the next election?

Well, the wealthy and articulate parents appear to be getting their way on French Immersion and IB, at least this year, at the cost of school psychologists and CYWs. I got to watch it happen in real time.

But a cabinet rebellion is really the best possible outcome. The more coordinated these guys are, the more likely they are to fuck up everyone's lives. And the more of a circus they create, the less likely we'll have to put up with Scheer.
