Well, [livejournal.com profile] springheel_jack declared it poem-writing day, but y'all probably don't want to see me write a poem. Think Vogon. So in lieu of that I present to you something that verges on found poetry, really. This was from a meeting of an unnamed group that I missed awhile back. They made this agenda without me, but I think it's stuff that we can all agree on.

So yeah, that's what we're up to. In case you were wondering.

Dude, I disagree with the second half of numero three and I think you know that too.

I don't get irony. :(

Do you mean it's funny because it's true or because it's "true?"

LOL

This "groupthink" is very new to me. I am a child of the 90s and my generation doesn't like to talk on behalf of others. I am a byproduct of large social forces.

Ooh, Vogon poetry! I love Vogon poetry!

More meetings should have agendas like that.

Who did you purge?

Very exciting. I've never purged anyone.

Well, except that one time.

As a Trostskyite, I disapprove picxaxes. The very sight of one makes my skin crawl.

OMG!. Eating disorders!

Your mom told you those groups are bad for you.

  1. Go away, don't touch me, you people smell.
  2. Barely, I suppose.
  3. No.
  4. Hell, no!
  5. Don't forget to change it every three months.
  6. Oy gevalt!
  7. No, thank you.
  8. I can't hardly wait.

1. Emotionally starved anarchists?
2. More reason to hate them.
3. Hating dead people is ok, I guess.
4. Sex-starved, too.
5. Somehow, I'm not sure I understand this.
6. I won't eat any more baked pagans. I'm sick of them.
7. A foreward-looking bunch, I see.
8. I always believed members of an organization should be willing to support it by their own efforts. Any fund raising event that is touted as fun should send potential attendees running away.

1. Institutionalised 'caring' as part of the agenda ...
2. Except that they look like robots and kill like robots. And they make funny noises when I pass by them around the corner yesterday by the speed limit zone with my window rolled down (loud beeping noises). I can't see their eyes.
3. Yep
4. Are these really anarchists? Yes they are.
5. drawing blank looks
6. HUH?
7. sure
8. math is fundamental. Institutionalised 'fun' as part of the agenda

I love #3 and #5.

Also - baking pagans? Great idea, wish I'd thought of it.
