Cat birthday time

It is my cats' birthday (well, usual disclaimer that it's Cocoa's birthday—19!—and I celebrate their birthdays on the same day because I don't know when Sabot's is. Who would like to see pictures?
They got a new bed because they puked on their old one and I washed it and the pillow exploded. But this bed is larger and cushier anyway.

There's a mouse! The bed was from me, the mouse was from my mom. Cocoa likes the bed but does not care for the mouse, apparently.
Now, the mouse is one of two presents from my mom; the other is this Purr toy.

The backstory here is that once I saw a toy raccoon and well, you all know I have a raccoon obsession, so I thought it would be cute for them. It turned out to squeak which is unacceptable, and Sabot insisted on playing with it at all hours. I complained about this to my mom and she thought this was hilarious for some reason. At one point the squeaky raccoon went missing and I was so relieved, and my mom accused me of throwing it out, which I didn't because I'd never throw out one of the cats' favourite toys even if it was slowly draining away what was left of my sanity. But anyway, it was eventually retrieved, and continued to annoy the shit out of me. Ultimately, though, it completely lost its squeak. Ever since then, my mom has been on the hunt for something that is equally annoying to me.
Anyway, she landed on two squeaky toys, because she wants me to suffer.

Of course Sabot loves them. Sabot is very happy. My mom is very happy. I may never sleep again.
I have done a second cut, because the last three pictures are lethal levels of cuteness.
It took them until about 45 minutes ago to figure out that they could in fact both fit on the new bed.

So there you go! Happy birthday my babies, long may you reign.
