I haven't really been able to follow the news, but I gather that in Gitmo, a guy confessed to a role in Sept. 11 and killing Daniel Pearl, and another guy confessed to bombing the USS Cole.

I guess waterboarding does work after all.

yep. it did seem like a case of the terrorist doth confess too much.

do they really think we would believe, in these post iraq days, that ONE guy is responsible for all those things?

I think people believe it, because that's the model that we're presented with. Then again, it might be a good development, because maybe if he goes down for every act of terrorism ever, they'll stop assuming that everyone they picked up and held without charges for years is guilty of something.

Well, they won't, of course, but it'd be funny.
