We are experiencing a high volume of calls right now, and it's kinda stressing us out, so please don't take it amiss if we don't call back. If you're calling to express sympathy, please limit your message to under ten seconds. If you're calling to invite us out, please send e-mail."

Of course:
a) Most of the phone calls aren't from people who read my LJ, nor are they people who really get my phone phobia.
b) As though I could figure out how to change the voicemail message.
