Yup, deamwidth is where people can post to lj while lj is down

It's also where people can post where I'll still read them even after I've given up on clicking cut-tags or comment links at LJ because of the content-obscuring ads that play sound and occasionally crash my browser. Uh, for the few folks who actually care whether I'm reading, that is. (As if this paragraph is really about convenience to people-who-are-not-me in the first place ...)

Looks like I missed the outage because I had my head stuck in comparing transcriptions of Galician music most of the day, and didn't get around to peeking at my flist until now.

Yeah, I can't access it either from home or work and I also can't access status.livejournal.org, if that thing is still supposed to work. Veeery strange.
