You may have noticed that I'm screwing around with the layout again. It's a work-in-progress. Ideally, I need a format that allows me to customize background or title bar images and ideally lets me change comment text (because I love my molotov cocktail/return the empties thing) and keep a tag list. I really like Freshly Baked Bread here, but I can't seem to change the bread to something cool, like gears or zombies.
Consider this your invitation to snark about my layout and suggest ideas.
I also changed the name. Bonus points to anyone who gets the reference.
Still working on it, ack. New layout should be up soon, I hope.

I spend my days reading and researching (when I can be bothered....no I'm really am attentive student,) watching movies, laundry, dishes, and getting stressed over whether my daughter will get out of bed in time to make the bus. And I curse at my mother when she tells me how beautiful the weather is out her window.

Date: 2006-10-24 04:25 pm (UTC)Last night Felix, 42 lbs. of Bad Cocker Spaniel, had a treat waiting for me when I got home. I should have photographed it. I had just gotten an expensive box of Oil of Olay vitamins, where there's a little packet of 4 different vitamins that you take each day. The box, she is no more. Many of the vitamins, inside the dog. He ate about 10 multi-vitamins, 3-4 B12, a number of ginseng, and one or two COQ12. He was very hyper.
We had an argument. We exchanged insults. We growled at each other. I have thumbs, so I won.

They've been doing that a lot, though, so I was ignoring them. Finally, I figured it was time to break up the catfight, which was when I looked outside to find this charming scene.

Date: 2006-10-24 05:30 pm (UTC)When I rescued a litter of feral kittens last year, I had a nasty TP surprise. They loved unrolling, it, yes, but they also liked shredding it right there on the roll. This was annoying. When they learned to get into the massive 24-pack of TP toys, that was Very Annoying.
But of course, as they say, they're fuzzy and cute, so we're obligated to forgive them... Are we being brainwashed, do you think?
