The same high school that cancelled prom rather than let Constance McMillen bring her girlfriend did something even worse to another kid. 16-year-old Juin Baize was kicked out on his first day of class, and his family was eventually forced to relocate to Florida to protect his safety, just for being transgendered.

Cats at the Toronto Humane Society are in danger of being euthanized if homes are not found for them by April 12.

The governor of virginia is really ridiculous when you think about it. The one thing the republicans have to be proud of is that they were on the right side of the civil war. And then in order to get the racist vote he decides to honor the confederacy and purposely makes no mention of slavery (because then the racists will be pissed off, and that's kind of against the whole point of it). And then when there's a flap, he goes and says a bunch of stuff about slavery and now the racists see him as weak, caving into pressure from the anti-slavery liberals. But everyone else noticed that his excuse is that slavery slipped his mind because when he thinks of the confederacy he just doesn't think about the slaves at all. So end result is that the racists see him as a tool of the NAACP and everyone else sees him as a raving racist.

Never mind the fact that the republican's answer to losing the healthcare fight is to dig up the corpses of dead losers from two centuries ago and side with them.

And did you hear that McCain is no longer a maverick? LOL

Someone, I think in JournalFen's community unfunnybusiness, made a remark to the effect that that entire high school, if not that entire town, seemed to be going for the "evilest place to live ever" award. I'm beginning to agree. They are just about a puppy-kicking program and a Death Star away from being renamed The Galactic Empire. Seriously, guys.
